Warranty

RO Summary per line item:

Warranty: 5yr/60k mi on qualifying repairs; 3yr/36k mi on wear items. Certain services, fluids, performance applications, and specialty parts may carry shorter specific intervals, which supersede general coverage. Exclusions apply, including customer-supplied, certain used, non-OE, performance, and off-road parts. See TOS for full terms.

ESTIMATE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Estimates provided are an approximation of the anticipated timing and charges for the services requested and are based on the work reasonably expected at the time of inspection. Unexpected conditions, additional failures, seized or damaged components, prior repairs, modifications, or other complications may result in changes to the original estimate.

Estimates expire 7 days after issuance due to changing parts, material, and labor costs.

By authorizing this estimate, you authorize Finesse Auto to perform the repairs and services described, procure the necessary parts and materials, and operate the vehicle as reasonably necessary for diagnosis, inspection, quality control, and on-road testing.

If additional repairs or services are recommended beyond the authorized amount, Finesse Auto will provide a revised estimate or work order for approval before proceeding. We will perform only work authorized by you.

Unless otherwise specified, replacement parts are new.

DEPOSITS, SPECIAL ORDERS, AND CUSTOMER-SUPPLIED PARTS

Deposits are non-refundable once parts have been ordered, labor has been scheduled, or other costs have been incurred on your behalf.

Special-order parts and electrical or electronic components are non-returnable and non-refundable unless otherwise specifically agreed to in writing.

Used parts and customer-supplied parts are installed without warranty from Finesse Auto unless otherwise specifically stated in writing.

VEHICLE AND PERSONAL PROPERTY

By authorizing service, you acknowledge that Finesse Auto is not responsible for loss of or damage to personal property left inside the vehicle.

Finesse Auto is not responsible for loss, damage, or delay resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including fire, theft, severe weather, supplier delays, shipping delays, parts availability, manufacturer backorders, or other similar circumstances.

AUTHORIZATION AND STORAGE

Repairs and services should be authorized within 3 business days after an estimate is provided. If the vehicle remains at Finesse Auto awaiting authorization beyond 3 business days, storage charges of $150 per calendar day may apply.

Upon completion of authorized repairs, the vehicle must be picked up within 3 calendar days unless other arrangements are approved in advance.

Storage charges are:

  • $150 per calendar day for vehicles stored on-site.
  • $350 per calendar day when the vehicle must remain indoors occupying a service lift.

Storage fees will be added to the repair order.

Finesse Auto reserves the right to exercise any lawful lien rights available for unpaid repairs, services, storage, parts, or other authorized charges.

Vehicles left unpaid, unclaimed, or without reasonable communication for more than 7 calendar days may be subject to towing, impound, lien, or other lawful collection procedures.

Finesse Auto Limited Warranty

Warranty coverage varies depending on the type of repair, service, part, vehicle application, and operating conditions.

The 5-year / 60,000-mile limited warranty program applies only to qualifying system repairs invoiced on or after September 22, 2026. Repairs invoiced before September 22, 2026 remain subject to the warranty terms originally provided with those repairs and are not automatically extended or converted to the current warranty program.

Unless otherwise specifically stated on the estimate, repair order, invoice, manufacturer documentation, or supplier documentation, qualifying repairs are subject to the following warranty classifications.

5-Year / 60,000-Mile Limited Warranty

Qualifying repairs involving components reasonably expected to provide long-term service are covered for 5 years or 60,000 miles from the date and mileage shown on the original invoice, whichever occurs first.

Examples may include qualifying:

  • Cooling system components
  • Water pumps
  • Thermostats
  • Radiators
  • Steering components
  • Engine repair components
  • Most Seals and gaskets
  • Oil filter housings
  • Certain sensors, modules, and electrical components
  • Other qualifying long-life mechanical repairs as designated by Finesse Auto

Coverage applies when the vehicle is operated under conditions reasonably consistent with the intended service life of the repaired component.

Vehicle modifications or operating conditions that materially increase stress, load, wear, temperature, suspension travel, drivetrain load, engine output, braking demand, or other demands on the repaired component may reduce or exclude warranty coverage as described below.

3-Year / 36,000-Mile Limited Warranty

Qualifying system repairs involving components subject to normal wear, deterioration, or shorter expected service life may be covered for 3 years or 36,000 miles from the date and mileage shown on the original invoice, whichever occurs first.

Examples may include qualifying:

  • Brake pads
  • Brake rotors
  • Certain belts
  • Engine or transmission mounts
  • Shock Absorbers/Struts
  • Suspension bushings
  • Certain batteries
  • Other wear-related repair components as designated by Finesse Auto

Service-Specific Warranty or Maintenance Intervals

Certain maintenance services, fluids, filters, performance applications, specialty components, consumable items, or other services may have a warranty or recommended service interval shorter than 3 years / 36,000 miles.

When a specific warranty period, mileage limitation, maintenance interval, or service interval is stated on the estimate, repair order, invoice, manufacturer documentation, supplier documentation, or service recommendation, that specific interval supersedes the general 5-year / 60,000-mile and 3-year / 36,000-mile warranty periods.

Examples may include:

  • Engine air filters
  • Cabin air filters
  • Wiper blades
  • Brake fluid services
  • Coolant services
  • Transmission fluid services
  • Differential and transfer case fluid services
  • Spark plugs
  • Alignments
  • Tires
  • Performance-vehicle maintenance
  • Other scheduled maintenance or consumable items

For example, if a performance-vehicle brake fluid service is specified at 2 years / 20,000 miles, that stated interval applies, whichever occurs first.

A maintenance or service interval is not necessarily a guarantee that the component or fluid will remain serviceable for the entire interval under all operating conditions.

Aftermarket, Performance, and Modified Vehicles

The presence of aftermarket, performance, or modified components does not automatically void warranty coverage on unrelated qualifying repairs.

However, warranty coverage may be denied, reduced, or limited when an aftermarket component, performance modification, vehicle modification, altered operating condition, or non-original configuration causes, contributes to, or materially accelerates failure of the warranted component.

Examples include, but are not limited to:

  • Lowering springs, coilovers, altered ride height, or modified suspension geometry affecting control arms, bushings, ball joints, wheel bearings, axles, shocks, struts, or related suspension components.
  • Lift kits, spacers, altered alignment specifications, or suspension geometry changes affecting suspension, steering, driveline, axle, or wheel-bearing components.
  • Oversized, non-standard, or unusually heavy wheels and tires increasing loads on suspension, steering, wheel bearings, axles, drivetrain, or braking components.
  • Engine tuning, increased boost, performance software, modified turbocharger or supercharger systems, intake modifications, exhaust modifications, fueling changes, or increased engine output affecting engine, cooling, transmission, drivetrain, emissions, or related components.
  • Modified brake systems, track-oriented brake components, increased vehicle performance, or unusually severe operating conditions affecting normal brake component life.
  • Modified drivetrain, differential, transmission, axle, or gearing systems affecting related components.

When a warranty claim involves a modified vehicle, Finesse Auto may inspect the failed component and surrounding vehicle configuration to determine whether the modification reasonably contributed to the failure.

If the modification is unrelated to the failure, the modification alone will not automatically exclude an otherwise valid warranty claim.

Aftermarket and Performance Parts

Aftermarket, performance, racing, off-road, specialty, and non-OE-specification parts do not automatically receive Finesse Auto’s standard 5-year / 60,000-mile or 3-year / 36,000-mile parts warranty.

Unless otherwise specifically stated in writing, these parts are covered according to the warranty provided by the part manufacturer, supplier, or distributor.

Manufacturer or supplier warranty terms, time limits, mileage limits, exclusions, claim procedures, and replacement policies control the part coverage.

Finesse Auto does not extend or enlarge a manufacturer’s or supplier’s warranty unless specifically stated in writing on the estimate, repair order, or invoice.

Labor associated with replacement of a failed aftermarket or performance part may not be covered, depending on the applicable manufacturer or supplier warranty and the terms stated on the repair order or invoice.

Racing, competition, track-use, off-road, and other specialty performance components may carry reduced, limited, manufacturer-only, supplier-only, or no warranty coverage.

Any warranty period or limitation specifically stated on the estimate, repair order, invoice, manufacturer documentation, or supplier documentation supersedes the general Finesse Auto warranty periods.

Customer-Supplied and Used Parts

Customer-supplied and used parts are not covered by Finesse Auto’s parts warranty.

Labor warranty on customer-supplied and used parts is excluded.

Warranty Exclusions and Limitations

Warranty coverage applies only to the specific parts and labor originally provided by Finesse Auto and is subject to the applicable warranty period stated for that repair.

Warranty coverage does not apply to failures or damage caused by, resulting from, or materially contributed to by:

  • Abuse, misuse, neglect, accident, collision, or improper operation.
  • Overheating.
  • Lack of required maintenance.
  • Continued operation after a warning, malfunction, fluid loss, abnormal noise, overheating condition, warning light, or known failure.
  • Racing, competition, track use, off-road use, or operation outside the vehicle or component manufacturer’s intended use.
  • Improper installation, repair, adjustment, modification, or alteration performed by another party.
  • Vehicle modifications or non-original-equipment components that alter the design, geometry, operating load, temperature, alignment range, suspension travel, drivetrain load, engine output, braking demand, or other operating conditions affecting the warranted component.
  • Failure of related components not included in the original repair.
  • Environmental damage.
  • Corrosion.
  • Contamination.
  • Impact damage.
  • Road hazards.
  • External causes outside the repaired system.
  • Normal maintenance or consumable items whose expected service life is shorter than the applicable general warranty period.

Warranty coverage does not automatically extend to unrelated systems or components.

Finesse Auto reserves the right to inspect the vehicle and failed components before approving a warranty claim.

Repairs or alterations performed by another facility may affect warranty eligibility if those repairs contribute to the failure, alter the original repair, or prevent Finesse Auto from reasonably determining the cause of failure.

Some qualifying repairs may include nationwide warranty assistance and towing reimbursement subject to separate program terms, eligibility requirements, geographic restrictions, limitations, and exclusions.

The warranty applicable to a specific repair is determined by the estimate, repair order, invoice, Finesse Auto warranty classification, manufacturer terms, supplier terms, and any specific written warranty terms in effect at the time the work is performed.

Please contact Finesse Auto for complete warranty details or clarification regarding coverage for a specific repair.

INVOICE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Thank you for trusting Finesse Auto with your vehicle.

Payment is due in full upon completion and pickup of the vehicle unless other arrangements have been approved in writing.

Finesse Auto reserves the right to exercise any lawful lien rights available for unpaid repairs, services, parts, storage, or other authorized charges.

Vehicles not picked up within 3 calendar days after completion may be subject to storage charges of $150 per calendar day.

If a vehicle must remain indoors occupying a service lift, storage charges may be $350 per calendar day.

Please contact us promptly if you have any questions regarding your repair or invoice.

VEHICLE AND PERSONAL PROPERTY

You acknowledge that Finesse Auto is not responsible for loss of or damage to personal property left inside the vehicle.

Finesse Auto is not responsible for loss, damage, or delay resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including fire, theft, severe weather, supplier delays, shipping delays, manufacturer backorders, parts availability, or other similar circumstances.

Warranty on Work Performed

Warranty coverage varies depending on the type of repair, service, part, vehicle application, and operating conditions.

The 5-year / 60,000-mile limited warranty program applies only to qualifying repairs invoiced on or after September 22, 2026. Repairs invoiced before September 22, 2026 remain subject to the warranty terms originally provided with those repairs and are not automatically extended or converted to the current warranty program.

5-Year / 60,000-Mile Limited Warranty

Qualifying repairs involving components reasonably expected to provide long-term service are covered for 5 years or 60,000 miles from the date and mileage shown on this invoice, whichever occurs first.

3-Year / 36,000-Mile Limited Warranty

Qualifying wear-related repairs involving components subject to normal wear, deterioration, or shorter expected service life may be covered for 3 years or 36,000 miles from the date and mileage shown on this invoice, whichever occurs first.

Service-Specific Warranty or Maintenance Intervals

Certain maintenance services, fluids, filters, consumable items, performance applications, specialty components, or other services may carry a warranty or recommended service interval shorter than 3 years / 36,000 miles.

When a specific warranty period, mileage limitation, maintenance interval, or service interval is listed on this invoice, estimate, repair order, manufacturer documentation, supplier documentation, or service recommendation, that specific interval supersedes the general 5-year / 60,000-mile and 3-year / 36,000-mile warranty periods.

For example, a performance-vehicle brake fluid service specified as 2 years / 20,000 miles is subject to that interval, whichever occurs first.

A maintenance or service interval is not necessarily a guarantee that a component or fluid will remain serviceable for the entire interval under all operating conditions.

Aftermarket, Performance, and Modified Vehicles

The presence of aftermarket, performance, or modified components does not automatically void warranty coverage on unrelated qualifying repairs.

However, warranty coverage may be denied, reduced, or limited when an aftermarket component, vehicle modification, altered operating condition, or performance modification causes, contributes to, or materially accelerates failure of the warranted component.

Examples include altered ride height, lowering springs, coilovers, lift kits, spacers, oversized wheels or tires, modified suspension geometry, engine tuning, increased boost, increased engine output, modified braking systems, drivetrain modifications, and similar changes affecting the repaired component.

If a modification is unrelated to the failure, the modification alone will not automatically exclude an otherwise valid warranty claim.

Aftermarket and Performance Parts

Aftermarket, performance, racing, off-road, specialty, and non-OE-specification parts do not automatically receive Finesse Auto’s standard 5-year / 60,000-mile or 3-year / 36,000-mile parts warranty.

Unless otherwise specifically stated in writing, these parts are covered according to the warranty provided by the applicable manufacturer, supplier, or distributor.

Manufacturer or supplier warranty terms, time limits, mileage limits, exclusions, claim procedures, and replacement policies control the part coverage.

Finesse Auto does not extend or enlarge a manufacturer’s or supplier’s warranty unless specifically stated in writing.

Labor associated with replacement of a failed aftermarket or performance part may not be covered depending on the applicable manufacturer or supplier warranty and the written terms of the repair.

Racing, competition, track-use, off-road, and specialty performance components may carry reduced, limited, manufacturer-only, supplier-only, or no warranty coverage.

Customer-Supplied and Used Parts

Customer-supplied and used parts are not covered by Finesse Auto’s parts warranty.

Labor warranty on customer-supplied and used parts are excluded.

Warranty Exclusions and Limitations

Warranty coverage applies only to the specific parts and labor originally provided by Finesse Auto.

Warranty coverage does not apply to failures or damage caused by, resulting from, or materially contributed to by:

  • Abuse, misuse, neglect, accident, or collision.
  • Overheating.
  • Lack of required maintenance.
  • Continued operation after a warning, malfunction, abnormal condition, fluid loss, or known failure.
  • Racing, track use, competition, or off-road use.
  • Improper repair, installation, adjustment, modification, or alteration performed by another party.
  • Vehicle modifications or non-OE components that increase stress, load, heat, wear, suspension travel, drivetrain load, engine output, braking demand, or otherwise affect the warranted component.
  • Failures of unrelated or surrounding components not included in the original repair.
  • Environmental damage, corrosion, contamination, impact damage, road hazards, or other external causes.
  • Normal maintenance or consumable items subject to shorter expected service intervals.

Finesse Auto may inspect the vehicle and failed components before approving a warranty claim.

Subsequent repairs or modifications performed by another facility may affect warranty eligibility if those repairs contribute to the failure, alter the original repair, or prevent Finesse Auto from reasonably determining the cause of failure.

Some qualifying repairs may include nationwide warranty assistance and towing reimbursement subject to separate program terms, limitations, eligibility requirements, and geographic restrictions.

The warranty applicable to each repair is determined by the warranty classification, estimate, repair order, invoice, manufacturer terms, supplier terms, and specific written terms applicable at the time the work is performed.

Please contact Finesse Auto for complete warranty terms or questions regarding coverage.
